During the fishing season, many fishing boats from Japan, South Korea and other countries and regions come here for shelter. From 1989 to 1991, Shidao Port alone berthed more than 200 Taiwanese fishing boats with more than 1000 people. Fishermen at home and abroad have more frequent exchanges and forged profound friendship.
